Annual Foof Shelf Donation Site
Clearwater Lights is not connected in any way to the the Clearwater/Clear
Lake Foodshelf. Nor are we asking for anyone to help share the cost of
lighting our lights. We put lights out because we enjoy looking at them and
because it's a part of how we celebrate our beliefs. One such belief is
helping others. The Food Shelf does this admirably, and every bit of help
stays right here in the community. What's better than that?
The biggest problem is that outdoor food collection is darn near impossible
during the time of year we celebrate Christmas in Minnesota. So we're asking
all who stop by and wish to join us in giving, that you do so by donating a few
jingle bells instead of real, live food.
We provide a lock-box on site, and every jingle bell that finds its way into
there goes directly to the food shelf. (Plus, the Food Shelf staff knows how to
get more than just a jingle bell's worth of groceries for each one donated, so
lets help them perform their Holiday magic!)
For the easily distracted, this bears repeating...
EVERY PENNY THAT'S DONATED GOES DIRECTLY TO THE FOOD SHELF!
